The cabanas are beautiful enclosed spaces that are reserved for you. Cabanas are for up to 7 guests and they includes 4 bottles of water, electric service, WiFi, refrigerator, 4 chairs, table and 2 lounge chairs, and a television. There is a limited number of cabanas so you should reserve early if that is your plan. You can even reserve a cabana online before you head to the park. After spending some time at Funplex you are definitely going to work up an appetite. Since they do not allow any outside food or drinks on the premises you will want to check out the Pitstop Cafe.
There are cafes inside and outside so you can grab some food no matter where you are. The menu includes things to make a full meal like pizza and chicken tenders. But there are also plenty of snack options like funnel cake, fried Oreos, pretzels, and ice cream. We took a snack break in the waterpark and had funnel cake and ice cream.
Then we ate pizza for lunch inside. When we finally had enough of the heat we headed inside to check out the Funplex amusement park section. I was expecting an arcade but I was pleasantly surprised.
There were plenty of arcade games to choose from but there were also many rides that you would typically find on the boardwalk. My kids had a blast on the bumper cars, go karts, and sky scraper rides. When you plan your trip to Funplex make sure you leave yourself plenty of time. It is definitely an all day trip.
