Cant remember the last time i actually got juicy ripe peaches here in Calgary, its been years. I pay for top quality organic peaches at the farmers market and come home disappointed every time.

You could also buy them hard and keep them in the fridge and then take them out to ripen as you want to eat them. When I buy peaches in bulk or any sort of fruit that ripens once I bring it home , I always put some on the counter to ripen and some on the fridge and then as I eat the ones on the counter, I put more out from the fridge so that I always have ripe fruit available to eat.
