For example, if you only have a few hearts you can only invite them to the boutique but with more you get options for beautician and hair salon. The character will ask for an outfit that you think will suit them. I've always given them the one based off their current style or their favourite style shown on their contact card. Never tested out giving them a different one, so you could try it and see how it goes.

They will have a set budget, i. When sending out invites, most characters will accept them. However there is a slight chance you can get rejected. I've had two rejections so far, no idea why.

I've had customers reject items even if I hadn't sold it to them for a long time. I've had customers reject colour variations as well this also occured in previous games and they will inform you they already own it in the same colour. But this isn't always the case as some customers will accept the item if it's the only item in the outfit they already own. So pretty much you can't sell an entire outfit or one single item if one item is requested to a customer if they already have it in my experience.

I'd recommend just trying to sell the outfit to another customer with the same style. I wonder why the Fashion has the Afro and braided headband styles but aren't in the game. I feel like this game wasn't completely finished before releasing :.

It also doesn't have the crimped and sausage curls. They just copied and left the index the same as the last game. I believe the Fashion has those referenced as the developers just copied and pasted most terms from the previous game but failed to notice that they actually aren't in the new game.

It's a shame that hairstyles especially unique ones were removed in Styling Star. I feel it was a rushed release to get it out on the 3DS before the Switch gained more popularity. Styling Star hasn't been as popular even in Japan as players noted the lack of content and online functions as a disappointment.

Outfits on the mannequin shouldn't be seasonal or anything, I've had no trouble selling gothic outfits all year around.

I've noticed the HUGE increase in stock space for this game! Is it possible to have every item from every store in stock at the same time? There is a huge stock space increase in Styling Star. The game claims you can store all the items but no players have reported yet if it's true or not.

There's over 20, clothing items to collect, but the amount stated you can have when at the exhibition hall is smaller than that. So it's a bit confusing on whether or not you can hold every single item. Ohh 20, is a lot!

Does the stock space not increase after a certain level is reached? I saw players at level 99 but idk how much stock space they have haha. Try clearing out the customers from your boutique by serving them to see if she appears. Sometimes when you ask customers to wait, it takes a little while for them to come back had this happened to myself. Don't worry, she will come back eventually. Once she is happy with the pair of slip-ons you give her, she will tell you that she will not give you anymore challenges. Lorelei will open a beautician in the city. Camilla and Rosie visit the shop to let you know Rosie will be performing at a big festival. Angelique will be there as a special guest which Rosie is excited about. Camilla requests you pick out a baby-doll outfit for her to wear to the festival. Work at any shop or do whatever activities you please before later on in the day, Rosie will come and collect you at the shop to go on the trip with Angelique.

Angelique request you pick a party dress for her to wear to a dance party at the beach and you and Rosie will receive matching outfits as well.

The next day, head to the bakery and talk to Michel to receive a sweet bread miniature. If you visit the park, Momo and Hitomi appear saying they just finished performing and are heading to the station next. The next day, new hairstyle and make-up products will unlock. A new character appears at the station and she will come to the shop.

After you give her the skirt and leave the shop, you will see she has been photographed for the magazine she likes which is called Cute Style. Continue doing shop work or other activities for the rest of the day. The next day go to the park to see Camilla and Florian practicing a fan chant for Rosie. You can practice with them. At the shop, Yolanda is there waiting for you to go to the shampoo advert shoot.

You head off to the location and you need to pick a daytime office look and bold outfit for long hair. Pick which of the two photos you like best and the day ends. I just want to do the five sisters storyline. I've seen the credits already, but I figured that wasn't the true ending. For Ruby, Sapphire and Amber, check the beautician, hair salon and boutique to see if they are hiding there. Otherwise check the Live Music Club. Took myself 60 hours before the Five Sisters story line showed up which is ridiculous! The game does get repetitive and I wish the boutique requests were more varied as there was more challenging ones in previous games.

I'm not sure where to put this, but I reset my game after a bug caused customers to only ask for designs I couldn't play for 2 months and I'm avoiding to unlock the Designer Lounge now? Should I worry about it?? I'd recommend updating your via the e-shop in case there is an update for the game available.
